The Velo-city Global 2012 took place in Vancouver, Canada from 26-29 June 2012. After Copenhagen in 2010 this was the second Global edition of the Velo-city conference series.

On the last day of the conference, ECF and the City of Vancouver launched the Charter of Vancouver on the right of children to safe cycling. International, national or local institution may support the Charter and use it as a tool for promoting safe cycling for children as a fundamental human right.
