World Bicycle Day: The first World Bicycle Day was celebrated on June 3rd 2018 following the UN Declaration to encourages UN Member States to devote particular attention to the bicycle in cross-cutting development strategies. ECF & WCA called for the creation of a UN designated #WorldBicycleDay as far back as 2016! Bicycles promote so much good in the world: from increased health, to environmental benefits and sustainable economic growth, the humble bicycle has almost unmatched potential for growth.
