Velo-city Dublin opens Call for Abstracts with theme 'Cycling for the Ages'!

The next edition of Velo-city Conference Series, co-organised by Dublin City Council and the European Cyclists’ Federation, will take place in Dublin, Ireland from 25th to 28th June 2019.
We invite you to share your insights, data, innovation and analysis to help us reflect our chosen conference title: 'Cycling for the Ages' and our conference vision: The cycling city of 2030.
The theme of Velo-City 2019 Dublin is 'Cycling for the Ages'. The conference vision is looking forward towards the cycling city of 2030. This theme focuses on encouraging cycling by people of all ages and abilities, young and old, male and female as part of their daily transport and recreation.
The conference sub-themes are as follows:
1. Technology, Intelligent Transport Systems and Data Analytics:
A. Autonomous Vehicles and how cycling can survive
B. Cycling data, is it good or useful
C. Cycle safety at junctions
D. Integrating cycling with public transport, intermodality? How to achieve it.
2. Health and Social:
A. Health promotion and prevention
B. Social Inclusion, cohesion and equity
C. Behaviour Change and the influence of the media.
D. Sport & Leisure
3. Environment and Infrastructure:
A. Tackling the Environment & Climate Change
B. Evolution of Cycling Infrastructure
C. Strategic Planning for Infrastructure
D. Infrastructure’s role in enabling access for all
Following Velo-city's tradition of interactive and engaging presentations, we invite you to share with us a proposal for a presentation which will inspire attendees, enrich the conference programme and help us to reflect the breadth of cycling experience globally. Taking as a starting point our theme ‘Cycling for the Ages’, we are looking for abstracts that show us how we encourage cycling from young to old, male and female and all demographics so that cycling is accessible to everyone.
