ECF’s Cycling Industry Club (CIC), representing some of the most influential global cycling companies, will be at ECF’s annual Advocacy Summit at Eurobike 2014. This successful event returns for the third year running as the pinnacle of collaboration between industry and advocacy. CIC’s presence at the Advocacy Summit is proof that this partnership holds real potential for the growth of the cycling industry.

Why join CIC?

  • We help governments and cities create more bicycle-friendly spaces, which gets more people cycling.
  • More people cycling means more sales of bikes and equipment — and that’s good for business.
  • CIC is a cost-effective partnership. As a not-for-profit body, ECF doubles industry input by matching it with EU cash. With these funds we unlock €billions in public expenditure.
  • We gave an international audience to cycling innovators, such as bike-sharing, e-bikes and cargo bikes, and we continue to put them on the new technology agenda.
  • We’re for jobs. We put the “Cycling Economy” on the international policy agenda and now we are campaigning to create over 200,000 new cycling jobs through our “Green Jobs” initiative.

By joining CIC as an industry partner you add your weight to the collective strength of other businesses and the advocacy expertise of ECF in increasing cycling. For more information on how to become a member, click here.

Why participate in the Advocacy Summit?

Because we will be focusing on exciting new areas of industry collaboration that will strengthen the sector.

  • ECF’s Valuing Cycling Project is boosting intelligence sharing within the sector in order to build a strong database for advocacy.
  • The Green Jobs Study aims to put a figure on the jobs potential of the cycling industry.

Join us on August 28th to swap ideas on growing cycling with the world’s leading industry and advocacy players!
