Winter bicycle parade in Moscow at -28C

The first bicycle parade of the year in Moscow organized by Let's bike it and the Transport Department of Moscow, was held despite the freezing temperature of -28C. Over 500 participants were not intimidated by the weather and gathered to cycle together through the capital city of Russia.
Emergency services were at alert in the beginning and at the end of the route but all the people had chosen appropriate clothing, and nobody asked for medical assistance. In 2016 there were four bicycle parades held in Moscow last year and the first winter bicycle parade gathered more than 3,000 people despite the cold weather in 2016.
