The European Cycle Logistics Federation along with cycle-based company Outspoken Delivery from Cambridge, UK  is hosting a workshop aimed at existing and established cycle logistics operators. Specifically, those who are interested in providing know-how transfer and advice to others who are intending to set up and run a cycle based delivery business.

The workshop will take place on Monday 24 November, from 9:30 to 18:00 in Milan, Italy.

With research showing that  25% of commercial delivery trips within urban areas  could be made by cargo bikes; the main aim of this workshop is to encourage the implementation of cycle logistics solutions in urban areas.

The workshop aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to tailor the training to their specific national conditions and they will then be expected to present at least two workshops in EU towns, cities, countries of their choice by May 2017.

As an associate member of the European Cycle Logistics Federation, ECF fully endorses this great workshop and is certain it will lead to a strengthening of the shift towards sustainable urban logistics. This is especially relevant for ECF given our role as project partner in the EU PRO-E-BIKE project. "ECF is proud to promote this as part of our work on PRO-E-BIKE" says Project Manager Randy Rzewnicki.
