ECF will be attending Taipei Cycle Show again this year and we look forward to meeting current and potential members of the Cycling Industry Club.

It is a very important year for our partnerships in Taipei because we are counting down to the Velo-city Global cycling conference in 2016 which will be run in collaboration with the Taipei Cycle Show.

As part of the build-up this year the city is running the two day “Asian Cycling Forum” in parallel to the Taipei Cycle Show. There is a world class panel of speakers discussing the future of urban cycling in Asia and the Cycling Industry Club will be there. We are delighted to be delivering two industry perspectives that link the expertise of the bicycle industry and the needs of city policy makers.

On Thursday 19th we will talk about the development of public bike share schemes, the role of new technologies in bike share and the way bike share breaks new cycling markets. On Friday 20th the subject switches to e-bikes with the presentation “Electromobility – what policy makers and funders need”.
