Adam Bodor is now ECF’s Advocacy and EuroVelo Director – Marcio Deslandes’ position changed to ECF’s Velo-city Series and Global Politics Director

From 15th of February 2016 Adam Bodor’s responsibilities at ECF were extended. Adam’s position was Director EuroVelo, Cycling Tourism & Regional Policy. He is now ECF’s Advocacy and EuroVelo Director as he will be in charge as Director of ECF’s advocacy in general and will lead, beside the EuroVelo team also the team of policy officers for advocacy on the local to the European level. Marcio Deslandes is now ECF’s Velo-city and Global Politics Director reporting to the Secretary General, as he did already as Velo-city Series Manager, manager of ECF’s initiative ‘World Cycling Alliance’ and working on e.g. the new Global Urban Agenda. Secretary General Bernhard Ensink: “I am really happy that we can gain from such excellent experience, knowledge and skills Adam and Marcio have shown within ECF’s staff team already. As ECF grew rapidly the last years I have to focus now more than ever on general management and overall strategies. I keep of course as Secretary General extensively involved in ECF’s advocacy and Velo-city Series work.”

ECF’s staff organization is led by a Management Team of four: Secretary General Bernhard Ensink, Administration Director Wini Van Wonterghem, Development Director Kevin Mayne and Advocacy and EuroVelo Director Adam Bodor.
