ECF’s largest member and partner in our Eurobike program is ADFC, the German national cyclists’ association who have used the occasion to show the high impact of their campaign for the German Federal elections which are happening in September.

„Fahrradland Deutschland. Jetzt!" (Cycling Country Germany. Now!) has been attracting the attention of the industry and politicians during the week of the show. In particular CEO of the ADFC Burkhard Stork was on hand to present the plan to the Baden-Württemberg Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann and Minister of Transport Winfried Hermann when they visited Eurobike on Wednesday.

Burkhard Stork and ECF Secretary General Bernhard Ensink were also showing a great collaboration between the national interest and European influence with a launch announcement to the show earlier in the day.

At the Advocacy Summit at Eurobike ADFC and other ECF members show the industry supporters how their election campaigns in Germany and France have opened doors to new influence which can grow the long term market conditions for cycling.
