Urban areas across Europe are suffering negative impacts like poor air quality, growing CO2 emissions, congestion, nuisance and safety issues. Cylelogistics can help cities tackle these problems, which is why we are glad to invite you to a tailored workshop for elected city officials and representatives.

Together with the city of Gothenburg, member of the Cities for Cyclists network, and the Urban Freight Logistics Thematic Group of CIVITAS, the European Initiative for Clean and Better Transport in Cities, the European Cyclists' Federation is organising the Cyclelogistics Empowerment Workshop for Cities to show the possibilities bicycles offer when it comes to urban logistics.

Cyclelogistics expert Gary Armstrong will run the workshop, featuring practical sessions and presentations on the advantages and disadvantages of various cycle delivery options and local opportunities to encourage Cyclelogistics. In the afternoon, a representative of the city of Gothenburg will present the results of the city's Cyclelogistics policy and guide a thematic visit of the city.

The workshop will take place on June 14th in Gothenburg, Sweden, and it is free of charges. We will limit the number of spaces to guarantee the quality of interactions during the workshop: if you are a city official, make sure to register early!
