During yesterday afternoon's Advocacy Summit, ECF showcased how industry funding has been utilised to contribute to its advocacy work. From the first industrial chapter for an EU Cycling Strategy, to the launching of PEBSS (Platform of Bike Share and Systems) and everything in between.

ECF Members joined the Summit and showed the impact of industry funding for ECF on the national level. FUB President Olivier Schneider presented the campaign 'Parlons Vélo' and how this reached the French political sphere from parliamentary candidates all the way to President Macron. Burkhard Stork, CEO of ADFC presented how the organisation is trying to take cycling to the upcoming German elections, and to negotiate cycling into the parliamentary programme after the elections.

ECF conlcuded with news about exciting projects which will use EU funding for furthering new technologies and new markets, including the world’s biggest ever real-time connected cycling demonstration in Copenhagen later in the year, bringing all industry connectivity platforms together in one project.

The Advocacy Summit brought together and summarised all the elements of the Cycling Industry Club's intensive Eurobike program, with members agreeing that it has been a very successful week.
