This year, Podilatiki Apo-Drasi Pierias (Cycling Escape of Pieria), in cooperation with the Municipality of Katerini, organizes the celebration of the Car Free Day, on Sunday, September 17th, 2017, at Eleftherias Square, under the name “Life in the town of Katerini without a car”.
For this day, special urban areas will be defined in town, where traffic will be allowed only for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. Some of the activities specially organized for this day, will include: traffic education for children, painting on asphalt, kids’ crafts, games, music and kinetics, dance-sports shows.
