The Velo-city 2013 conference was held in Vienna, Austria from 11 to 14 June. Building on established Velo-city discourse topics such as mobility, ecology and climate, health, the economy, resources, time and space, and social policy, a new topic opened for discussion at the Velo-city 2013 conference: cycling cultures. The motto of the conference was therefore framed as “The Sound of Cycling – Urban Cycling Cultures”.
