ECF offers free webinars on two topics: i) EU Project Funding and ii) the HEAT (Health Economic Assessment Tool) and how it helps to promote cycling.

Learn from our experience and join the webinars free of charge below!

EU Project Funding

There are many opportunities out there to use EU funds for cycling projects but it is not always easy to know where to look and how to get them. The complicated application processes can often be off-putting if you do not work regularly with such funds. Therefore, we have put together a webinar to help you find the right calls, bring together new partnerships and write successful proposals. In that interactive session we will present you with successful case studies of previous cycling projects and offer practical advice.

Join this webinar if:

  • You want a guided tour through the variety of European Funding Programmes that support cycling projects.
  • Your organisation wants to become involved in a European Project partnership or want to initiate its own European cycling project.
  • You want to find out how to write a successful project application.

ECF & WHO Heat Webinar

Spend 60 minutes with a top team learning how the HEAT tool is developing, and how it’s being used to promote cycling across Europe. We used it to value cycling at €200 bn year. Health economists said cycling in the Netherland is equivalent to 3% of Dutch GDP. What’s the value of health and cycling in your city, region or country?

Programme:

  • Introduction by Francesca Racioppi, WHO Europe, ECF Scientists for Cycling Board member
  • How to use the HEAT - by Nick Cavill, independent health expert who has worked on development & promotion of HEAT since it’s conception
  • Valuing Cycling – Using HEAT results to promote cycling - by Randy Rzewnicki, ECF Health policy officer
