Effective March 1st, 2019 the ECF Board has appointed Mr. Cristian Stoica as new interim ECF Secretary General.

ECF’s present Secretary General Bernhard Ensink, is set to leave the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) on March 31st, having served the organization for over 12 years. Secretary General Ensink Bernhard will hand over all his tasks during the handover period during the current month and will bid farewell to ECF at the organization’s AGM in May 2019.

Cristian holds a double degree in finance and law. He previously served as CFO, MD and Board member in IT&C, technology, and infrastructure companies. During his professional  career he has also acted as CFO of Alcatel-Lucent SEE, Director of European SSC and  Director in KPMG Advisory practice.

Cristian has a long and successful experience as Interim at C level in various organizations as well as being advisor to several investment funds in CEE countries. As part of his professional career he also worked as a University assistant professor.
