- Amanda has worked as a university lecturer, advocate and consultant since 2010. Her unhidden passion has actually earned her a great name of the time, which she is proud of -and that is, Madam Bicycle
- In order for her to influence the provision for cycling through design, she started a transport planning consultancy firm in 2010, which has since been involved in several sustainable transport planning projects in Uganda.
- She also aided the process of formulating the Uganda Sustainable Transport Network (UST-Network), in 2013, an umbrella organization of five Ugandan based organizations. UST-Network created first formal bicycle sharing project, at Makerere University, which Amanda is currently co-ordinating.
